About Alexandria Sporting Club
Alexandria Sporting Club is considered one of the oldest and most famous sports and social clubs in the Arab Republic of Egypt, with a total area of 97 acres owned entirely by the club. The club was officially opened on September 10, 1890, with the presence of Khedive Tawfik, the governor of the Arab Republic of Egypt at the time. The number of club members is 106,000. The sports activities at the club include 7,000 players in competitive stages and 5,000 other players in youth stages, in addition to 2,000 individuals in technical, physical, medical, and administrative positions.
